How many days for a safari

A Kenya safari is not one fixed package. The Maasai Mara can be two nights if you only want the plains, or four if you want the early drives and a quiet last morning. Amboseli and Tsavo ask for their own days. Serengeti is a different country, so the road or the flight has to be counted.

Start with the parks you actually want to see, then the month. July to October is the crossing season in the Mara. The rest of the year is still game country, and often easier to book. We do not lock you to one camp on this page. You choose the parks. We confirm the stay when we send the rate.

What to send us: how many people, the month, and whether the trip begins in Nairobi or somewhere else. If children are coming, say their ages. A family does not need the same vehicle as two adults.

Fly or drive is a real choice. A flight gives you more time on the ground. A road day shows you the country between the parks. Either can start from any city, not only Nairobi.
